- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Good spot to pull off the road for a break or a picnic. There are picnic tables, some under tree cover, pit toilets, and it's friendly for vehicles towing a trailer (drive in one end and out the other). It's often windy and several degrees cooler than it is on the valley side of the mountain, which keeps the bugs away but you may want warmer clothes for your stay.By Andrew Kerper, March 10, 2017
